Um, Kagerou, Lea? Did one of you get lost in the kitchen? Everything's moved around. And there are forks in the spice rack.

But anyway. Has anyone else seen the truck with the jingling music? It serves ice cream! Whose business is it? I think it's very important that I do my civic duty by patronizing your establishment.

You didn't see Lea's note? We have no idea what happened to the kitchen, so we took breakfast to the Bazaar.

I must have missed it! I was in a hurry since I slept late. Do you think someone broke in?

I'd think so if everyone hadn't been pranked in some way. Unless there's an army of invisible ninja vandalising the residential area... You don't think there could be?

I saw the ice cream truck the other day, but I asked for raspberry and it gave me mint. Which was good, too.

True invisibility is scientifically impossible, but if they're very very good ninjas, we wouldn't see them, would we?

Oh, they should have combined it for raspberry mint!

Maybe we should ask Youth. He's an expert, after all. On ninjas, I mean.

That would've been lovely! Be careful, though, you don't have to pay but your money is taken, anyway.

[identity profile] blindedmewith.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Is he? But I thought ninjas were stealthy, and Mr. Youth is very loud.

Oh, that's okay. It's only right to pay in a free market economy.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I think he's only loud when he's not ninja'ing.

Yes, but it would've been more polite to ask for money up front and not simply make it vanish from someone's pockets!

Oh! Like a part-time ninja!

Well, maybe the driver is from a place where that sort of thing is normal.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
With full-time competence, I should think. Ninja'ing doesn't sound like a casual job.

At least the price seemed fair, when compared to prices we pay in the Bazaar.

[identity profile] blindedmewith.livejournal.com 2010-07-07 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely not, especially with all the danger of being sliced and diced into a hundred pieces!

You just have to know where to look. Some of the vendors are really very nice!

We had some temporary ninjas during the apprenticeship thing though.

Oh, that came out wrong! I meant they are comparable to the prices in the Bazaar, I wasn't implying there's anything wrong with the Bazaar prices.
