Lea, Kagerou...I think we should go get dinner from the bazaar tonight instead of cooking for ourselves.

Does anyone know how to get chemical stains off the ceiling?

Chemicals on the ceiling? How did you do that?

Oh, but as for the stains, lemon juice probably does the trick. [Tap tap.] Or more chemicals, if you feel like experimenting.

oh bb

I got a really good idea of how to make some Luminol, except it ended up not that good and kind of went boom.
From: [identity profile] longnosedliar.livejournal.com
So maybe you made something else, instead! I bet you could use it somehow. Most great inventions probably started off by going boom.

What's Luminol, anyway?

Aw hellz yeah

Definitely something else. Luminol doesn't look like this. It's not a great invention, though. Just a mess now.

Oh! It's the most amazing substance! It's a spray that can be used to detect blood after a crime, even once it's been washed away! I've been trying to make it so the Watch can use it next time there's a murder.

Does this mean the ceiling will glow in the dark? [I have no idea why he finds this hilarious and awesome.]

Because he's Lea

No! It didn't work! And even if it did, it would only glow if there was blood on the ceiling.

...Well I'm sure that wouldn't be too hard to arrange. But we'd have to start eating out at the bazaar on a regular basis.

Why were you cooking chemicals, anyway? Don't you have like...bunsen burners for that?

That's a very creepy thing to say, Lea. Don't forget I'm still part of the Watch.

I have a space at the clinic on Wellspring, but I thought of a breakthrough after I got home tonight and just had to try it. But it was only broken.

[grin~] I just meant that we could prolly borrow Toushi after one of his fights and just smear him on the ceiling. What were you thinking I meant?

Can't win all the time, though. Getting it right on the first try kinda takes all the thrill of the chase out of it.

That is not any better!

This isn't even the first, second or third try.

I guess saying 'try try again' will probably just get me punched. Or possibly injected with strange things. So I guess I'll just say good luck.

Where do you wanna eat? I'm out anyway, I can grab something and bring it home.

Thanks.

You pick. I'm not that hungry after failing again.

Ah, don't be such a pessimist. It's not failing, it's a process of eliminating methods that don't work. [Sorry, Roz; playing with semantics is about as close to consolation as he gets.]

That sounds like you're just moving words around to make me feel better.

Potayto potahto. I'm getting pasta and some kind of breaded chicken stuff from a place I ain't tried yet. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

It'd have to be, to stick on the ceiling like that.

That does sound pretty amazing. Not as exciting as explosions, maybe, but still pretty cool! What have you tried so far in trying to make it?

Rosalind! Are you all right?

That sounds okay. Don't forget dessert.

I'm okay! It shot straight up and left an interesting stain on the ceiling, that's all.

Who do you think you're talking to? Like I would forget dessert...

A whole bunch of things. I found some books that talked about how Luminol works back when the Wilderness was a mall, but none of them are actually instructional manuals, so I've been experimenting.

It wasn't supposed to blow up.

Oh.

You should be careful and not blow up things that are not supposed to blow up?
